Notice is hereby given that two public hearings will be held to hear testimony from the public regarding the Department of Environmental Management’s proposal to amend its Rules of Practice and Procedure, pursuant to Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes Section 91-3(1). The proposed changes will amend the following rule:
ARTICLE II SOLID WASTE DIVISION
Rule 2-8 Solid Waste Fees
Written Testimony: Anyone wishing to provide testimony may do so by email to cohdem@hawaiicounty.gov or by mail to the Department of Environmental Management, 345 Kekūanāoʻa Street, Suite 41, Hilo, Hawaiʻi 96720. Written testimony must be received no later than 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026.
Oral Testimony: Those who want to provide oral testimony during the meeting may email cohdem@hawaiicounty.gov or call (808) 961-8099 with your name, phone number, and email address.
