The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Environmental Management announces scheduled maintenance work at the Scale House in Hilo on Wednesday, April 30. Work is expected to be completed the same day.
Technicians will be on-site to conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance, and certifications of both the inbound and outbound scales.
During this time, temporary delays may occur for users accessing the East Hawaiʻi Reload Facility and the East Hawaiʻi Organics Facility, which share the use of the scales. The public is asked to follow all posted signage and exercise caution in the area.
